Lou had been practicing for about 10 years and was well known to Judge Burke who had been appointed by FDR in 1937 and was the longest serving federal judge in US history. Lou introduced me to Judge Burke along with another young lawyer (whose name I don\u2019t remember). At that time he was the only federal judge in Rochester.
